陈宏教授现为长江商学院运作管理学教授,多年致力于供应链管理的教学和科研。在物流、生产过程控制、瓶颈分析等方面是全球最受尊敬的学者之一。现任美国运筹与管理学会会员, 并曾担任该学会应用概率协会会长,曾是哈佛大学的博士后研究人员,还是多项加拿大联邦和工业企业研究基金的首席调查官,并具有深厚的工业咨询服务经验,曾为多家国际和国内知名企业提供咨询服务。 任教于不列颠哥伦比亚大学、香港中文大学、香港科技大学、佐治亚理工学院。

主要集中在供应链管理、经济与金融系统、排队网络理论等。
